

Purpose: To create a
uniform procedure regarding the
use and operations of ATV 1.
ATV Operator:
The ATV operator
uses the All Terrain Vehicle class off-road vehicles to complete fire
management or rescue activities, including scouting and preparation, fire
operations and post-burn monitoring and follow-up. The following standards are designed to ensure operational safety
and proficiency have been taught and exhibited in the consistent manner.
Training Required to Operate:
The ATV Operator must have appropriate training to operate
ATV or UTV equipment. ATV/UTV training must cover the following subject areas:

To be a released driver you must read the ATV 1 WTG Guide
