Purpose:

The purpose is to establish a standard set of guidelines for personnel to following when moonlighting.

 

Policy

Employees are permitted to moonlight provided it does not interfere with his or her responsibilities or performance at Wintergreen Fire and Rescue.

 

Employees shall obtain written approval from the Chief prior to accepting a second position.

 

Employees will not volunteer or moonlight within eight hours of the start of his or her shift at Wintergreen Fire and Rescue.
