Purpose:

To establish a policy that brings uniformity to the appearance of departmental structural helmets.

 

Policy:

Helmet color shall be yellow for Firefighters and Lieutenants, red for Captains, and white for the Chief and Assistant Chiefs.

 

The front shield should present as follows:

Ø     “Wintergreen” on top line

Ø     “Fire & Rescue” on the second line     

Ø     Emblem should display rank

Ø     First initial and last name on the bottom

Ø     Shall be black in color

Ø     Lettering background shall be red

Ø     Letters shall be reflective white
