Purpose: To create a uniform response guide for receiving automatic mutual aid for designated events.

Policy:

        

         Station 1

 

An automatic mutual aid from Augusta County, Company 19 shall be activated for:                                 

• A possible structure fire,

 

• A call for smoke or fire showing from a structure

 

• A brush fire of substantial size, or threatening a structure.

 

• A call for smoke or fire showing from a commercial structure or a Condominium

building, shall constitute an additional alarm from Rockfish Valley Fire Dept. as

well as Company 19 from Augusta County.

 

           

            Station 2

 

An automatic mutual aid from Rockfish Valley Volunteer Fire Dept shall be activated for:

• A possible structure fire.

 

• A brush fire of substantial size, or threatening a structure.

 

• A call for smoke or fire showing from a commercial structure.
