Stamp Out Stigma Conference

You are all invited to the Stamp Out Stigma conference hosted by Blue Ridge Medical Center in partnership with the Nelson Community Wellness Alliance.  The conference will take place at the Blue Ridge Medical Center, Nelson County High School, and the Nelson Center.  The event will help with teaching the skills to respond to signs of mental illness and substance abuse.  Kevin Hines, whom is a suicide survivor will speak on April 11th from 7:00pm - 8:30pm.  For more information about the speaker and his presentation, click here.  On April 12th, from 3:30pm - 5:00pm come out to Blue Ridge Medical to see the "REVIVE!" training presented by Wintergreen Fire & Rescue's Chief of EMS Operations, Mike Riddle.  This presentation will cover how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose emergency.  Click here, for additional information about the speakers and events regarding this conference.
